Reduction of material usage by zero cooling system
Revolutionary new technology that improves bottle physical strength by 15% and offers scope for light-weighting. Comparing to the current bottles with the same size and physical strength, 5～10% PET materials usage can be reduced.

Participation in a Demonstration Experiment Led by the Ministry of the Environment
The PET bottle reuse experiment was conducted by the Ministry of the Environment and Pal system Consumers’ Co-operative Union in FY2008. We provided testing for heat-resistant plastic bottles.

We have been undertaking initiatives for recycled PET since the 1980’s and have accumulated an impressive track record of pioneering work.

Proposal of Double Layer Molding to Utilize Recycled Material
Virgin PET is used for the mouth and inner part which come into direct contact with the contents, and recycled PET is used for the exterior. This two-layer container is both safe and environmentally friendly.
Since the inner part is new material, it can be used for various purposes such as food and daily necessities. Also, by combining the coloring of the interior and exterior, a beautiful appearance can be realized, and it can be used for high-end applications such as cosmetics. Of course, even in the case of two colorless layers, it is an excellent material that can maintain the transparency comparable to new materials.

Initiatives Promoting Biodegradable Plastics (Bioplastic)
Bio PBS
We succeeded in stretch blow molding bottles with 100% Bio PBS for the first time in the world. A biodegradable material derived from plants developed by a major chemical manufacturer. Naturally decomposes into water and carbon dioxide in the soil.
Generally it had been thought that Bio PBS was not suitable for stretch blow molding due to its highly crystalline nature, however we succeeded to mold bottles using our proprietary “1-step 4-station” technology. Demand for this type of bottle for commodities and cosmetics is expected to increase in the future.
